Funding
The DHR Afterschool Services programs funds afterschool and summer learning programs. Community-Based Organizations apply for funding through a Request for Proposal (RFP) that is issued through the Georgia Department of Administrative Services.
Programs operated by public agencies (e.g. Local Education Agency) apply for funding through a Statement of Need that is issued directly by the Department of Human Resources’ Office of Financial Services. Currently there are no funding opportunities available.

Department of Administrative Services (DOAS)
State purchasing promotes equal access and competition among vendors to ensure that best value, high-quality goods and services are available to state and local governments. The Georgia Procurement Registry is a free web-based advertising system offered by DOAS’ State Purchasing for publicizing government contract opportunities.
When the DHR Afterschool Services Program posts a Request for Proposal through the Department of Adminstrative Services, the RFP will be available for downloading at the Georgia Procurement Registry.
